Virtual Dating Tips Part 1

In today’s world of hustle and bustle working life and desktop recreation it can be difficult to find time to spend with your honey out there in RL. That or you (like me) feel that slaying hoards of zombies in Dead Rising 2 co-op gameplay sounds like the perfect romantic evening for two!

Here are a few things you can do to make sure your virtual cadaverous carnage will prove to be a fun filled evening for you and your special someone:

Tip Number 1: Download/Install/Patch your game ahead of time! Nothing is a bigger mood killer than having to IM about frivolous things like world politics and global warming (j/k about the frivolous!) when you could be giggling over Skype about Paddlesaws (a paddle...with saws on it...ZOMG!!). Which brings me to number 2!

Tip Number 2: Download/Install a voice chat client! Screaming while tearing through the living dead and making inappropriate jokes about various stages of decomposition can be a special moment between you and your loved one – make the most out of it by making sure they can hear you! Skype is great for this and Ventrilo is an old favorite.

Tip Number 3: Stock up on a ready supply of caffeine and munchies! Snacks are a tried and true condition of the gaming arts and the night simply won’t be the same without the sweet whispers of crunching and munching through virtual space. It’s like your lover’s right there with you!!

Folks, I hope these tips help ensure that your virtual dates are special events with those you care most about. Got any virtual dating tips? Comment below!
